I love teaching and tutoring. I'm constantly on the lookout for techniques I can use to help students work through various in their learning path. Currently I'm pursuing certification to teach grammar and Latin. I primarily tutor students in Latin, but have a broad academic background and enjoy helping students with writing, reading, and French. As someone with a lot of experience studying linguistics, I'm adept at showing students how to better connect with a language and its writing to match the interest of the student. When I tutor students, I work alongside them to guide their learning and encourage lots of practice. I also provide additional readings to increase fluency. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in essay writing and editing, English grammar and syntax, phonics, Latin, and French. When I have free time, I enjoy ballet, fencing, knitting, and horseback riding.
